AFADES helps individuals and organizations to connect across cultures. We provide information, support and tools to help immigrants reach their goals. By engaging people through networks, education and volunteer programming we create a welcoming community.

We work through programs and projects that respond to the need to provide care, training and social inclusion for immigrants with special attention to the most vulnerable: minors and women. Our organization works in partnership with community and immigrant-serving agencies.

Aims & Objectives

• To promote co-operation and intercultural understanding among all ethnocultural groups within the community. 
• To provide information and advisory services to ethnocultural groups and other interested organizations. 
• To promote activities of charitable nature that would help towards alleviating deprivation and disadvantage.

What we do

• We provide information and support for immigrants.
• Spanish and computer classes.
• Awareness & Education programs.
• HIV/AIDS Programs.
• Several great youth programs are offered thoughout the year: cineforum, workshops (capoeira, crafts, tradicional games...), hiking and outdoors activities.
